Rules/Guidelines

MOST IMPORTANT RULES

  • This blog is for 18+ only! I have nothing against minors and would have no problem RPing with them, but since this blog has a lot of “mature” content, especially sexual stuff, it just seems safer and easier for this to be an “adults only” blog.

  • No smut if you’re under 20! Even if someone is legally an adult, at my current age anyone under 20 just feels too young for me to feel comfortable writing that sort of thing with them (tbh I might even be reluctant to write smut with anyone under 25, but that depends on the person).
I also won’t write smut, sexual situations, or romance with muses that are under 18 (or the physical equivalent) regardless of the mun’s age.

The rest of these rules are less important. They may not cover everything, but in most cases if you do something I don’t like, I’ll just talk to you about it before doing anything else. I’m generally pretty forgiving unless you’re intentionally hurting someone. There are reasons I’ll block someone, but it happens pretty rarely.

  • Don’t reblog RP posts that don’t include your muse (open starters and crack posts are exceptions). Also please don't reblog headcanon posts. Memes, aesthetic posts, and things like that are okay to reblog. It's okay to like any post unless I say not to.

  • Personal blogs should not interact with rp posts at all, though ooc posts are fine. The exception is if your personal is linked to a rp blog/s.

  • Call-out posts: I’m against call-out culture, but I won’t block someone for a call-out post if it appears to be about someone legitimately dangerous. However I do ask that you please tag any call-out posts. I will probably unfollow anyone that posts call-outs too often.

  • Please tag anything about real world politics and events. I’m here to escape from all that, so even if it’s something I agree with I still prefer not to see it here.

  • Also I would appreciate if you tag spiders (only if it’s a photo or realistic image) and images or detailed descriptions of gore (just if it’s on the more extreme side). Also body horror, especially if it’s realistic.

  • Not required, but it would be helpful to both of us if you at least read the first part of Andras’ profile before writing a starter or interacting.

Other Important Things (not rules)

  • I may be slow with replies, but I usually get to them within a week, sometimes a little longer. Feel free to ask me about a thread if you’ve been waiting more than a week.

  • This blog is mostly non-selective. That means I am willing to rp with almost anyone, but there are rare cases where I may turn someone down. Mostly because I don’t think our muses or writing styles will work well together. Also, I will not rp with any Harry Potter related muses, but any other fandom is fine.

  • This blog is not mutuals only. There are a variety of reasons I may not be able to follow someone, or might have to unfollow someone, but am still willing to rp with them. But if I’m not following you, you’ll probably have to contact me if you want to rp.

  • I won’t rp with muses based on real people, whether historical or contemporary. This includes fictionalized versions of real people. Self-inserts can also fall under this (a character that is based on you or traits of yourself, but isn’t literally you, doesn’t, imo, count as a self-insert).

  • If I follow you, it means I want to rp with you! But I get nervous about contacting people and it may take a while for me get around to it (and I may just never get around to it, but I’m trying to work on that).

  • I don’t really like sending passwords, but I am willing to do it. But I won’t if you’re going to publicly post it. It feels like having a spotlight on me and I really don’t want that.

Note: Anything on this page may be added or changed at any time! I try to post about any updates I make.

Feel free to ask me if you have any questions!

About The Muse

Andras Corbin
fallen angel (isandros)
he/him
age: over 3000 years
height: 6'3" (190.5 cm)
doesn’t label himself (pansexual demiromantic for ooc purposes only)
[important note: Andras is blind, so please try to keep that in mind when writing starters or replies (but it’s okay if you forget, I might just have to remind you; also your muse is allowed to assume he’s sighted).]
[Less important note: Andras can make his wings “disappear”, and he won’t usually have them out in public places or around people he doesn't trust, so you can usually assume his wings aren’t visible unless the setting is somewhere private, and even then only if your muse has already seen them.]
A fallen angel (not a demon), but his “fall” was actually a choice.Andras is carefree, fun-loving, mischievous, and very laid-back. There isn’t much that can make him upset or angry, and he’ll usually try to brush off anything that does. He has a high libido and flirts with almost anyone (this means he’s likely to flirt with most adult muses, but will stop if he doesn’t get a positive response). Chances are he’s only interested in a one-night stand with that person, but he also sees flirting by itself as an amusement and doesn’t always intend for it to go anywhere. He’s a very social person and loves being at the center of attention, and can’t stand being tied down or stuck in one place for too long. He is likely to attempt to stir things up if it gets too quiet for his liking. He is also very spontaneous and often unpredictable, often doing things without thinking them through first.Andras cares a great deal about people, but he doesn’t like to be seen as “soft”. However, despite his best efforts, his softer side tends to show itself more frequently than he likes. He’s more likely to be kinder towards those who treat him and others kindly in return. He hates hurting anyone in any way, unless he thinks they deserve it.

Blindness

Andras was blinded by a type of demonic poison, but he's not totally blind. He can see vague shapes and shadows, and with enough light even some color. It's just barely enough to make it possible for him to avoid large obstacles. He's learned to use context clues along with his other senses to tell what things are with decent reliability. He can't see anything in low light, and smaller objects are basically invisible to him, so he still needs to use a cane (a telescoping cane, so it's easier to carry when flying), especially in unfamiliar areas. He's capable of memorizing layouts and how to get places, but it takes some time. When flying, a cane isn't really useful, but he still does pretty well getting around for the most part. He has a good sense of direction and judging distance. His wings are sensitive to air currents and changes in air directions, which is also helpful. He's still somewhat prone to running into things, so he tries to avoid flying in places with a lot of obstacles.

Powers/Abilities

  • flight (uses his wings in combination with his powers)

  • light-based powers: Things like light beams, light projectiles, "solid" light, etc. Think of the sort of thing you might see in a video game using a "light" element. Also things like teleporting, changing form, and creating force fields utilize light in some way, often a glow or flash.

  • teleportation and inter-dimensional travel (not always accurate, as he has a tendency to turn up in places he didn’t intend to be)

  • strength: stronger than the upper limits for a human, but his own limit is unknown.

  • ability to sense power—he can get a general (not always accurate) idea of how powerful someone is

  • He can also sense someone's "energy" which can tell him if the person isn't human (though not always), and also tells him where someone is. He can use it to find someone and teleport directly to their location (someone powerful enough could potentially "hide" their "energy" from him and prevent him from doing this).

  • all senses (except sight) are much stronger than a human's, especially hearing (his senses were not enhanced after losing his sight, they've always been as strong as they are now, though he's learned to use them more)

  • super fast healing, super durability, and super fast metabolism

  • ability to manifest/de-manifest wings at will

  • ability to sense emotions (not always accurate, can still be fooled by someone hiding their feelings)

Background

Andras is an isandros, a type of angel at the bottom of the angelic hierarchy. He originally had an incorporeal form that looked a bit like a ball of light, and could take on a physical form which looked much like a human, with four wings, and pointy elf-like ears. Usually he was a soldier under his father’s command. During times of peace, he was also a guardian angel, which meant he spent a lot of time around humans. He was supposed to remain unseen using powers of invisibility and intangibility (abilities he no longer has access to), but he tended to break this rule because he never quite fit in with the rest of his family, or even his race, and always preferred the company of humans and other mortals.Andras grew up in a very restrictive society in which everyone's lives were pretty much controlled by those in power, everyone had tasks or careers that were assigned to them with no choice in the matter, and the rules were strict with harsh punishments. Andras may have been influenced by his time with humans, but he was always a little different. Everyone around him seemed to be fine with how things were, but as he grew up he started to question things and couldn't understand why no one else seemed to. His father, Levanael, was particularly strict, meaning he and Andras never got along well. His mother, Aniela, was kinder and more forgiving, often helping him out of trouble, but she still urged him to avoid conflict by doing what was expected of him and never really understood his desire for personal freedom and disdain for authority.Despite being a soldier, Andras really only had a chance to fight in one battle, though he had occasionally fought against demons at other times. Isandrim have to use their physical forms to fight (unless fighting other incorporeal beings), which means they are also able to be physically harmed. This time the demons were using a sort of poison on their weapons that was specifically made to fight angels, interfering with their fast healing abilities to make them more vulnerable. During the battle, some of this poison got into Andras' eyes, and he was severely wounded. Even changing to his incorporeal form didn't undo the damage. He came very close to dying, only barely able to get out alive. No one, not even his father who was fighting in the same battle, came for him. Although Andras now suspects it wasn't on purpose and something may have kept anyone from getting to him or knowing he was hurt, that doesn't really make it better. He has no memory of what happened after being injured and doesn't know how he managed to survive, only that he was left with scars and without his sight. Feeling betrayed and having nearly died in a battle that he didn't even want to fight in, he turned his back on his family and former home. He accepted the status of "Fallen" although it came with a loss of power as well as a set of wings, an excruciatingly painful process that still sometimes haunts his nightmares. Even worse, Andras was now stuck in his physical form. He can still manifest or hide his remaining wings at will, but he can never change back to his incorporeal true form, making him essentially trapped in his physical body.He spent a long time adjusting, getting used to his new status and reduction of power, trying to adjust to being trapped in a physical body, learning to get around with minimal sight, and learning how to fly with only his two remaining wings. But he was finally free to make his own decisions and live the way he wants without restrictions. More importantly, he was free from the old life that he hated. He has never come to regret his decision, despite the consequences. To Andras, what he gained was well worth the price of what he lost. From that point on, Andras has been living on Earth. At first, he would spend a lot of time in one place, long enough to develop relationships and even fall in love on more than one occasion. His relationships with humans didn't always last, but the ones that did inevitably ended with the human dying. He grew to fear these kinds of connections and the pain that, in his mind, inevitably came with them. He began travelling more frequently, becoming restless if he stayed in one place for too long, and did his best to avoid becoming too attached to anyone. He also sometimes travels to other worlds/universes since he figured out how to do so, meaning that he never runs out of new places to explore.

Blog and Mun Info

[Note:] This blog contains adult/N.S.F.W content. This means mostly sexual stuff, but violence and dark themes are also possible. Most of it is in writing, but there may also be suggestive images. This is a roleplay blog for my fallen angel OC, Andras. It was a multi-muse blog for a time (previously feathersandforests), so you may still see references to other muses. Other OCs may be requested (the ones tagged “open for rp” on my Toyhouse), but Andras is the focus of this blog.

The Mun

Name: Cyn
Pronouns: she/her
Age: 40+
Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time (but I’m often on late at night)
Other Blogs: animedegne (canon multi-muse blog, currently inactive), thia-b (personal I rarely post in but still follow people)DeviantArt - Toyhouse
Send me an ask or message me for my Discord.
This is just stuff I think would be useful to know about me. If you want to know more, you can ask me.note: I have social anxiety and communication is very difficult for me, especially when it comes to initiating contact. I’ll still try if there’s something I think needs to be discussed, but if I don’t talk to you it’s not because I don’t care or am ignoring you.

Tagging Conventions

  • Most of my tags are straightforward and simple. Such as ooc, headcanon, open starter, thread, etc.

  • nsfw tags: nsft (not safe for tumblr) and nsfwish (I don’t always tag smut threads since I figure it’s not really necessary if it’s under a “read more”, but if someone asks me to tag those threads I can). There’s also the sexcanon tag for sex-related headcanons.

  • starters and thread replies are also tagged according to the other muses involved as m: muse name (this is for the other person’s muses)

  • common triggers are are tagged as trigger cw (replace “trigger” with the appropriate word, for example: “gore cw”)

  • other tags are less important and are mostly for things like aesthetic posts and other things relevant to my muse (but you can see my tags page for commonly used tags)

  • I also communicate ooc stuff such as comments in tags; I never put IC stuff in tags (that is, my muse does not speak in tags; only ooc stuff goes in tags)

Background Muses

Some of these characters can be interacted with if asked (or I make a starter/starter call for them) but otherwise just exist as part of Andras’ background.Enid
Andras’ younger sister (reference / Toyhouse). Born after Andras’ Fall, so they’ve never met, but Andras is aware of her existence. He doesn’t know her name, though, and has no interest in meeting her. In many ways, Enid is opposite of her brother, being much more serious and preferring to follow rules rather than break them. She is in-training to be a soldier. Available for interaction.
Levanael
Andras’ father. A soldier with a rank equivalent to sergeant, he both commands a squad and trains new recruits. He is very strict and believes in harsh punishments for those who fall out-of-line, and is extremely stubborn. He’ll only listen to higher-ranking individuals, and his wife. Limited interactions, no humans/mortals.
Aniela
Andras’ mother, a guardian angel (incomplete reference). She’s very gentle and compassionate, pretty much what would be expected of a guardian angel. She can also be persuasive, as she managed to persuade her husband to keep letting Andras have more chances. However, she still thought Andras should just do what was expected of him in order to stay out of trouble. Limited interactions, no humans/mortals.

About Isandrim

Isandrim (singular: Isandros) are a type/race of angel I created so that I can do whatever I want with them, and also so that if Andras interacts with other angel characters any differences can be explained by him being a different type of angel.[Everything I say about angels here are my own ideas. Some may be based on other things, but nothing here is meant to reflect any religious beliefs. When RPing with other angel muses I will usually go with their headcanons instead of my own.]Isandrim are the "youngest" of the angels, being the last to be created. Although they predate humans, they are much more human-like than other angels, mainly in things such as behavior, but they still don't think exactly the same way as humans do. They could be considered a sort of "bridge" between humans and other angels, though the exact reason for their creation isn't known.[Angel headcanon: angelic language can't be understood or learned by humans, and may not even sound like language to humans, so the names of individual angels, and the names of "types" of angels, are not their "true" names; they're just the names used when communicating with humans; this includes the name isandrim]Appearance
Isandrim are incorporeal beings. Their true form is made up of light and energy. They look something like a ball of light, maybe a bit like ball lightning. Their sizes vary, and can be manipulated at will. There is an upper and lower limit to how big or small they can be, but it's not precisely known (I just know they probably aren't going to be really huge or really tiny; I mostly imagine them being around the size that the sun appears to be in the sky). They are extremely bright, and looking at one directly is similar to looking directly at the sun.
Besides their incorporeal form, isandrim are also able to take on a physical form. Since they usually do this when interacting with humans (even though doing so is rare as even guardian angels typically don't reveal themselves to humans; but there was a time when it was more common), this physical form resembles a human in almost every way. In this form, they can have all the same skin-tones, hair colors/textures (including white and gray hair not related to age), and eye colors that humans have. However, isandrim are not powerful enough to completely hide their non-human nature. The result is that their ears are always long and pointed, similar to an elf. Besides interacting with humans, isandrim can also use their physical forms for combat.Isandrim can have up to six wings, which manifest in their physical form, and can be manifested or de-manifested/hidden at will. Most isandrim have two sets of wings on their back. The larger, primary wings do most of the work in flight, while the slightly smaller, secondary wings, placed just below the primary wings, act similarly to a rudder or a bird's tail, aiding in turning and balance. Isandrim with a single pair of wings are less common. These wings are larger than the primary wings on a four-winged isandros. Some isandrim have a single pair of large wings on their back, and a second set of much smaller wings on their head which are mostly just decorative. These head-wings are somewhat rare. Six wings are even more rare. The wings can be any color, though black and pure white are rare. It's most common for the wings to be white on the top and back, with the rest being some other color, usually with markings such as stripes or spots. It's also rare for the wings to lack any white at all.Isandrim have no control over what their physical form looks like, including their wings. It seems to be influenced by genetics, as the physical form of an isandros will tend to have traits similar to their parents' physical forms.Culture & Society
Aside from the whole "incorporeal ball of light and energy" thing, isandrim are very human-like in many ways. Or at least compared to other angels. They often serve as guardian angels because, although any kind of angel can be a guardian angel, isandrim tend to relate to humans better than most other angels. Of course, as Heavenly beings pre-dating humans, they are still different from humans in many ways. A notable example is that they have extremely long lifespans (in millions or maybe billions of years), so they don't understand time in quite the same way.
As a whole, isandrim tend to isolate themselves, staying in their own section of Heaven and only interacting with other angels when necessary, which is quite rare. They practically worship archangels (though they wouldn't call it that) and think they are not good enough to even be in the presence of an archangel, while communicating with an archangel directly is considered akin to blasphemy. If they do need to communicate with an archangel for whatever reason, they will do so using a messenger (usually an angel that is slightly higher in the hierarchy than the isandrim themselves are). All of this is entirely self-imposed, as isandrim (in general) feel they are beneath other, more powerful angels, and not worthy of the attention of archangels. Some other angels may even treat them that way, though not necessarily all do.Isandrim society is very restrictive, with a lot of strict rules that have harsh punishments. Every isandros is assigned a role without having any say in the matter, and they are not allowed to change or dispute their assigned role. And while individuals can have different personalities, there are many cases where they are expected to think and act the same way. Most individuals seem to not mind things being the way they are, or are at least good at pretending to be fine with it. It's rare for an isandros to try to break rules or go against the status quo.Despite the restrictiveness of their society, isandrim are not restrictive when it comes to gender and orientation. Mostly because they don't think about gender the same way humans do, and who someone is or isn't attracted to simply isn't seen as important.Fallen Isandrim
It's very rare for isandrim to Fall, but those that do typically lose some of their power and are permanently trapped in their physical form. They lose a pair of wings, and their remaining wings change to a darker color with dark markings, losing any white they might have had.
Powers/Abilities

  • light-based powers: Things like light beams, light projectiles, "solid" light, etc. Think of the sort of thing you might see in a video game using a "light" element. Also things like teleporting, changing form, and creating force fields utilize light in some way, often a glow or flash.

  • flight (obviously, but they can also use their powers to aid their flight)

  • teleportation and inter-dimensional travel

  • strength: stronger than the upper limits for a human, but limits are unknown

  • ability to sense power—they can get a general idea of how powerful someone is

  • all senses are much stronger than a human's, especially hearing

  • super fast healing, super durability, and super fast metabolism

  • ability to sense emotions

  • intangibility: in their true form, isandrim don't really have a physical body, and can pass through all kinds of solid matter

  • invisibility: they can render themselves invisible to humans and most other creatures; can only be done in their true form

  • possible other unknown powers

Other Info

  • Isandrim are the least powerful of angels, the bottom of the angelic hierarchy, and they aren't actually immortal. But they do have very long lifespans, in millions, maybe billions, of years. They can be killed, but it's very difficult, and usually can only be done by a demon or another angel.

  • In their incorporeal forms, reproduction involves each parent taking a bit of themselves, and then those "pieces" from each parent are put together and "mixed" to create an offspring with traits of each parent (it's probably more complex than that, but hard to explain). They could potentially also reproduce the same way as humans using their physical forms, but they have very low fertility, and can't reproduce with humans or any other species. Regardless of the method, because of their long lifespans, isandrim don't really need to reproduce often, and do so very rarely.

  • It takes about 2000 years for an isandros to reach full maturity. They are about equivalent to human teenagers at around 1000 years. Their aging process actually slows down after reaching maturity, so they will continue to look young for a very long time.

  • Since isandrim don't reproduce often, they don't really have a formal education system, since there are rarely more than a few children at any one time (and often there are no children, or only one), so they are mainly taught by their parents.

  • Many isandrim are guardian angels and soldiers. They are considered ideal for the former as they tend to be good at interacting with and blending in with humans, and the latter is because they tend to be considered less important and more "disposable" than other angels, and are typically used in less important battles, like the little skirmishes that are sometimes still instigated by some groups of demons.
